...Took a little trip..

We'd really been wanting to see Zach play lacrosse so we took advantage of a few days Rob had off from school and drove to Charlotte to watch him in action. Let me tell you, that game is AGGRESSIVE. I had no idea. It was freezing cold when we got there (not at all normal for Charlotte this time of year...of course) so we bundled up and watched North Meck beat the harm out of the other team with Zach making two of the goals. I took pictures but even with the "zoom" on my camera, the shots were too far away to see anything. (I'm just saying....hint...)
Anyway, it was a fun night and we got to meet Zach's new girlfriend, Rita. Then we were off to Adam and Kristen's for the night. We had a great time with them all...the boys got to spend time playing video games with Carter and we got to watch our niece, Berkeley, take her iceskating class. She was the best one ...by far! Again, pictures were taken, but there is a three-second delay once I push the button before the picture is taken so this is all I was able to get. (Just saying..) Thank you, Kristen and Adam for your hospitality. We love you! And I just have to say that I have the most beautiful nieces and nephews in the entire world...

After Zach got off work, we picked him up and headed part of the way home to Asheville, NC to see Rob's sister and her family. We were completely spoiled by lew's (Leslie's) cooking and loved going to church at their branch. Lew's husband, Matt, is the most musically talented person I know and his band, LEWIS, plays all over Asheville. Check out myspace.com/lewisland.
