A few weeks ago I had the chance to spend a long weekend with my parents. It was a quick trip but it filled me up in so many ways. Great, warm weather, delicious food and time with old friends and some much needed r & r with my family. A HUGE thank you shout out to Rob for holding down the fort and keeping the boys safe and happy while I was gone. (I missed you like crazy!)
One of the hightlights of my trip was getting to spend a little time with a longtime friend, Michelle Boyanner. We have been friends since our freshman year of high school. She is an AMAZING, generous, giving and talented woman. I also got to see a dear friend, Karrie Denton, and catch up with her after 15 years..

This is my dad...my mom and I quit playing our round of golf at hole 12 but my dad had the round of his life. His Tiger Woods "sinkin' the putt" impression....
We followed the warm weather to Palm Desert for a couple of days. One of my favorite places to eat ever is Tommy Bahamas where I ate the most incredible fish tacos with coconut sauce and fried plantains....ohhh my goodness....YUM! This trip, my folks introduced me to their new favorite place to eat, Jackelope Ranch. The grounds, landscaping and this big ol' pig made eating there something you just did while you enjoyed the incredible surroundings..
This is me and my sis...she is the best Aunt...and has the custest little puppy....
